Walkin' for Life / Ridin' for Life May 19th, 2012
Old Courthouse Museum, Winchester walking mall, 4-6pm
Walk or Ride...which to choose?
If you love to ride, get your motorcyle, begin your ride at Backseat Bar & Grill between 8am -1pm (104 Full House Dr, Winchester), and pick up your Ride Verification Card. Check-in at American Celebration on the grounds of Shenandoah Caverns (I-81, exit 269, look for the AbbaCare table!) between 10am- 3pm, and make sure to get your Verification Card signed! Finish your ride by 4:30pm at the Old Courthouse Museum on the Winchester walking mall, and turn in your Verification Card to Bill Broy. $25 Suggested Donation for participants.
Or, get your sneakers laced up, and come at 4pm to take an easy walk downtown. Ask people to sponsor you- you don't need to collect any money; we'll take care of that! Download your pledge form here.
Register for either event by clicking here. Call 540.722.4844 if you have questions. Papa John's pizza will be provided at the Museum event, Revival! will be back playing acoustic folk music and there will be door prizes! Be present to win. Bring the whole family, rain or shine.
In case of rain, the music and post-walk/ride activities will take place at Eagle Heights Presbyterian Church (403 S. Loudoun St, Winchester, just a couple blocks south of the walking mall).

Change for Life
Would you like to participate in Change for Life? It's easy- fill baby bottles with change, bills or even checks to help provide resources & materials for clients. Simply pick up a bottle and return it at AbbaCare. Or particpate as a group, church or organization. This makes a tremendous impact in the lives of our clients. All money received through Change for Life is used to provide resources for clients.
Post-Abortion Information
Stress related to an abortion can often occur many years later, bringing with it feelings of guilt, anger, sadness and a low-self worth. If this is true for you or someone you know, now is the time to put an end to the negative emotions and walk on in forgiveness and closure.
